Join us for a double dose of local history and transport nostalgia.
In this video, we visit the Greenock & District Model Railway Club for their landmark 40th-anniversary exhibition, held at the Lyle Kirk Church on Union Street.
We take you inside the exhibition to check out the incredible model railway layouts and intricate craftsmanship on display.
As a special treat, we also hop aboard a vintage Clydeside Leyland Leopard bus for a local scenic trip starting from Lyle Kirk.
Our journey takes us along Union Street past the club’s base at Fort Matilda station, down to Gourock, Battery Park in Greenock, and back to the church.
Plus, a look at some of the product exhibitors too.
If you love local West of Scotland heritage, classic transport, and model engineering, sit back and enjoy the journey.
