A historic day for Port Glasgow 🚢✨ on the 20th of June 2026, we witnessed the official unveiling of the new Comet replica, a brilliant addition to the town’s maritime heritage.
In this video, we catch the full speech from the Inverclyde Provost Drew McKenzie, and then head over to the Comet Festival 2026 for the opening of the Comet Festival.
Due to music copyright, we did not bring you very much of the Festival itself, just a wee snippet. It was a wonderful day for the community and a real tribute to local shipbuilding history.
